Engineering and Science graduates can apply online from February 15, 2026, to March 20, 2026, via the official portal uppcb.up.nic.in. Selection will be based on a written exam and interview.

UPPCB ka exam pattern do main parts mein divided hota hai. Part 1 mein General Studies, Reasoning, aur Mental Ability ke questions hote hain jo sabhi ke liye common hote hain. Part 2 aapke core technical subject par based hota hai. AEE candidates ke liye Environmental Engineering ke core concepts jaise Water Supply, Sewage Treatment, Air Pollution Control, aur Solid Waste Management se questions aayenge. ASO candidates ke liye Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, aur Environmental Laws (Water Act 1974, Air Act 1981) par focus karna hoga. Total 200 marks ka paper hota hai aur negative marking 0.25 marks ki hoti hai, isliye answers dhyan se mark karein.
UPPCB mein AEE aur ASO ki post Level 10 pay scale ke andar aati hai, jiska Grade Pay ₹5400 hota hai. In-hand salary ₹70,000 se ₹80,000 ke beech rehti hai, jisme DA, HRA aur medical allowances shamil hote hain. Career growth ki baat karein toh performance ke basis par aap Executive Engineer, Regional Officer, aur Chief Environmental Engineer tak promote ho sakte hain. Yeh ek stable aur prestigious job hai jo aapko policy-making aur pollution control measures implement karne ka mauka deti hai.
Exam crack karne ke liye aapko technical aur non-technical dono parts par balance banaye rakhna hoga. Environmental Acts aur Rules (1986) ko acche se padhein kyunki inse direct questions puche jaate hain. Pichle saal ke question papers (PYQs) solve karein taaki aapko exam level ka idea ho sake. Standard books jaise S.K. Garg for Environmental Engineering aur chemistry ke liye analytical methods ki books follow karein. Regular mock tests dein aur apni weak areas par kaam karein. Current affairs ke liye environmental reports aur UP state ki schemes par dhyan dein.
UPPCB selection process teen stages mein complete hota hai: 1. Written Examination (Computer Based Test), 2. Personal Interview, aur 3. Document Verification. Written exam clear karne wale candidates ko interview ke liye bulaya jayega. Final merit list written exam aur interview ke combined marks par base hogi. Document verification ke waqt apne original certificates aur domicile proof taiyar rakhein.
UPPCB exam Uttar Pradesh ke major cities mein conduct kiya jayega jaise Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Noida, aur Ghaziabad.
