Medical aspirants, dhyan dein! NEET UG 2026 koi mamuli exam nahi hai. Isme har saal 20 lakh se zyada students baithte hain. Hamari analysis ke mutabiq, Physics section aksar students ko pareshan karta hai, lekin agar aap concepts clear rakhein toh scoring ho sakta hai. Biology mein NCERT ki har line aapko yaad honi chahiye kyunki maximum questions wahi se aate hain.
Chemistry mein Organic aur Inorganic par pakad banayein. Pichle saalon ke trends ko dekhte hue, Numerical practice daily karein. Yaad rakhein, negative marking aapka score bigad sakti hai, isliye wahi questions attempt karein jisme aap 100% sure hon. Time management hi success ki chabi hai.
The NEET UG 2026 selection process is a multi-stage journey that begins with the entrance test and ends with seat allotment in medical colleges. Understanding each stage is crucial for every aspirant. The process is divided into the following key phases:
The core of the selection is the offline pen-and-paper test. The paper consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), out of which candidates must attempt 180. The total duration is 3 hours and 20 minutes. Each correct answer fetches 4 marks, while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect response. This stage carries 100% weightage for the merit list generation.
After the exam, NTA releases the answer keys and later the results. Based on the marks obtained, an All India Rank is assigned to every candidate. This rank determines your eligibility for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% State Quota seats.
There is no interview or physical test for NEET UG. The selection is purely merit-based. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for AIQ seats, Deemed Universities, and Central Universities. Simultaneously, respective state authorities conduct counselling for the 85% state quota seats. Candidates must register separately for these counselling rounds based on their ranks.
